Costa Rica in the Global Spotlight!

Media companies have recognized Costa Rica as a top tourist destination in 2021. Media company Bloomberg has stated Earth friendly hotels and Costa Rica’s nature will attract visitors from around the world.

Media company National Geographic listed Costa Rica as number 2 because of it’s sustainable tourism. Here is what they had to say:

“So, you want to escape? Imagine a country that’s one-quarter national park, a place where you could hike in a rainforest in the morning and surf tropical waves in the afternoon. Imagine an adventure Eden where sustainability was a strategy long before the world caught on, where jaguars prowl in the jungle, harpy eagles fly and Jesus Christ lizards walk on water before your eyes. That county is Costa Rica.”

 From our perspective, Tourism will continue to promote economic growth leading to real estate demand.  Foreigners attraction to Costa Rica’s lifestyle will lead to demand for vacation homes or retiring in our land of Pura Vida.

The start of the year has been robust in the real estate market. I have come across many locals and foreigners seeking to buy property as well as my colleagues.

Many clients from around the world have asked me how is the COVID-19 Pandemic in Costa Rica. From what I see daily is people continue to be friendly, people are out walking, riding bikes, shopping, dining, and going to work. Although enjoying their lives with the new normal of wearing masks. The economy is moving foward.
