Costa Rica officially became the 38th member country of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD). OECD member countries formally invited Costa Rica to join the organization in May 2020, after a five-year accession process. The OECD is dedicated to promoting policies for economic and social well-being.
Costa Rica will host the U-20 Women’s World Cup in August 2022, FIFA announced Thursday.
Hammerhead, Silky and Fox Shark were officially included as protected species by the Costa Rican Wildlife Conservation Law.
Costa Rica has imported 1,973,025 vaccines against covid-19, according to the National Emergency Commission.In June the country may receive more than 2.2 million doses. Also, the country is expecting 2.5 million vaccines to be imported between July and September. By the end of this year, the government’s goal is to have vaccinated at least 3.5 million people.
The real estate market in Costa Rica is moving very well. Lots of sales have been made throughtout both the Central Valley and Coast during April and May. This trend is expecting to continue these next few months.
